Kazakhstan airline Air Astana has launched a non-stop flight from Almaty to Tehran.
Flights will operate three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) and will be served by Embraer 190 aircraft.
The cabin will feature nine business class seats and 88 economy class seats.
The flight from Almaty will depart at 10:55 and arrive in Tehran at 13:20 (local time). The return service will depart at 14:20 and arrive back in Kazakhstan at 19:05.
Air Astana is a joint venture between Kazakhstan’s national wealth fund, Samruk Kazyna, and BAE Systems from the UK, with respective shares of 51% and 49%.
