Aparthotel company Staycity will open its fourth property in Dublin on 3 December, offering customers a choice of 50 apartments.

Located on Dublin 8’s Chancery Lane, the property features 49 studios that accommodate up to two guests, as well as one two-bedroom apartment sleeping up to four. On-site facilities include a Staycafe serving hot and cold drinks, as well as guest laundry and 24-hour reception.

The apartments feature a new look for Staycity, with a charcoal colour palette and contrasting yellow through the kitchenette, light fittings and soft furnishings. In addition, the built-in bed platforms offer storage boxes concealed underneath.

All apartments come with air conditioning, high-speed broadband, flat-screen TV, rainfall shower, Hypnos beds and a kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, twin hob and combo microwave/oven.

Staycity plans to open three additional properties in Dublin, with additional apartments due to open in Little Mary Street, Mark Street and Moss Street in 2020. The company already operates aparthotels in the city’s St Augustine Street, Christchurch and Millennium Walk, as well as other properties in nine cities across Europe, including its new Wilde Aparthotel by Staycity brand.

Helen Walsh, Staycity’s newly-appointed head of design, commented: “Chancery Lane has a much stronger, contemporary feel to it, signalling a dynamic, bolder look for our apartments that illustrates confidence and style. This modern, urban look will appeal to both leisure and corporate guests, particularly with the integrated storage space – great for tucking away bulky items such as suitcases, bags and shoes.”
