Plaza Premium Group has opened Aerotel London inside Heathrow Terminal 3 near the airline check-in desks.
Located at the Arrivals area of Terminal 3, Plaza Premium says the hotel’s booking policy allows customers to check in at any time of the day for stays starting from six hours.
The landside Aerotel features three room categories – Solo Plus, Double Plus and Family Room. All guest rooms are equipped with power showers, while the hotel says mattresses and pillows as well as “sleep tea” have been chosen to relax customers.
On-site dining is offered at the Library Lounge, which offers a selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Facilities available for guest use include free Wireless free internet access and reading materials such as newspapers and magazines.
Song Hoi-see, founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, said the hotel was built following demand from customers using the group’s lounges at Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. “Heathrow is our long-time partner and we appreciate their trust and support through the past years. We are confident to become an integral part of the airport and uplift the airport hospitality experience for all travellers.”
John Arbuckle, head of property at Heathrow, added: “We are delighted to have worked with Aerotel to bring Heathrow passengers this new, comfortable, modern hotel in Terminal 3 Arrivals. This will be really valuable for customers in need of a quiet haven to rest, relax and prepare for their onward journey.”
