Travel and events management company the ATPI Group has promoted Claire McGuinness to project lead of the account management team in Aberdeen for its specialist ATPI Marine & Energy division.
The company said the newly-created role has been introduced to strengthen its positioning within Aberdeen and the wider Scottish markets.
McGuinness has been a part of the Aberdeen account management team for the last seven years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the business travel space. Reporting to Scotland general manager Helen Gordon, McGuinness’s internal promotion will see her manage complex project work, change management and travel programmes for clients in the energy sector.
In her new role, McGuinness will continue managing a portfolio of clients while taking on added responsibilities, including creating new business opportunities and income streams for the business line.

She has extensive experience in managing a portfolio of clients in the energy industry and we feel confident she will lead our team to success in her new role.”
