Delta Hotels by Marriott has announced its launch in the UK, with three properties set to open in Milton Keynes, Brockworth and Nottingham this year.
The openings are another step in Marriott’s global roll-out of the brand after acquiring it in 2015.
Situated near junctions 13 and 14 of the M1 motorway, Delta Hotels by Marriott Milton Keynes is now open and offers 138 guest rooms alongside a gym, bar and restaurant, as well as 600sqm of meeting space and external grounds for outdoor events.
Meanwhile, Delta Hotels by Marriott Cheltenham Chase in Brockworth on the outskirts of Gloucester is located on the edge of the Cotswolds hills. The property features 122 guest rooms, a spa with indoor pool, a restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace area. For business guests, it also offers a conference and events venue with a capacity of up to 350 delegates.
Due to open by the end of this year, Delta Hotels by Marriott Nottingham Belfry is located five miles from Nottingham city centre. Along with 120 guest rooms, the property offers a spa with indoor pool, a restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace area, as well as one of the region’s largest conference venues with space for up to 700 delegates.
Marriott said another five UK hotels will open under the brand in 2020.
The brand currently has 67 properties in North America, five in Europe and one in the Middle East.
John Licence, VP of premium and select brands Europe at Marriott International, commented: “We are delighted to bring Delta Hotels’ refreshing take on hospitality to the UK after opening the first European outpost in Frankfurt last year. Delta Hotels by Marriott maximises the key essentials, streamlining the travel experience so that guests can get the most out of their stay.”
