Stobart Jet Centre has appointed Fiona Langton as its new managing director.
Based at Southend airport, the centre provides 24/7 service for private and business aviation, as well as helicopter transfers to and from Canary Wharf or Battersea Heliport. It was officially opened in January 2018 and served 1,660 air movements in the same year.
Langton joins the company with years of private jet experience, having most recently worked for a luxury fixed base operator at Stansted airport. Her career spans 20 years, gaining experience within the industry globally and includes time spent running logistics in remote conflict locations on behalf of military organisations.
In her new role, Langton will be tasked with growing the overall client base and driving the centre’s customer experience.
Langton commented: “Stobart Jet Centre offers a stress-free customer experience, with VIP lounge, complimentary catering and business services, delivered by a friendly and professional team. Stobart Jet Centre is offering an efficient but premium service to a rapidly growing customer base that want to get to London hassle free in under an hour. I look forward to being part of our continued success.”
