Applications are now open for technology start-ups to enter a new ‘Battleground’ innovation competition, which will take place at Travel Technology Europe on 26-27 February.
The Phocuswright Battleground: Europe, Middle East and Africa is a competition that offers six companies nine minutes each to demonstrate their innovations to a panel of influential judges – in front of a live audience.
Start-ups can apply via the website, and there is no charge to enter.
The winner will earn the right to compete in Phocuswright Summit: EMEA during Phocuswright Europe 2020 in Amsterdam.
“The Battleground provides startups with a free and not-to-be-missed opportunity to connect with the travel industry’s most influential audience and demonstrate their fresh ideas to an audience of savvy travel executives and investors,” said David Chapple, portfolio director UK, Northstar Travel Group.

TTE, Europe’s dedicated event for travel technology professionals, brings together 5,000 attendees and 100 exhibitors from every area of travel technology: booking and payment systems, CRM and customer loyalty, content management and marketing. It takes place during the Business Travel Show – which will run its own series of innovation-themed events.
