Tripbam has reported growth in its business, as well as an increase in savings for its corporate clients in the first few months of 2019.

The hotel shopping, benchmarking and analytics solution provider has signed on four new TMC resellers, bringing the total number of agreements to more than two dozen.

In addition, Tripbam has won contracts for several large corporate customers in the first half of the year.

The company says clients have seen US$21 million in total hotel spend savings so far in 2019, with 7 million bookings monitored and 1.1 million lower rates found.

Tripbam was highly commended in the Best New Travel Technology Product category at the 2019 Business Travel Awards for its Hotel Intelligence tool.

The company says its strong results follow the appointment of Jeff Hillenmayer as executive vice president of account management and Brett Rance as account director for EMEA. Hillenmayer was previously director of meetings and transient sourcing at HRS and has also worked for Lanyan. Meanwhile, Rance has more than 30 years’ corporate travel industry experience, including roles at BCD Travel and Fello.
