Meetings and events booking platform Wizme has released the latest version of its software for venues to help them manage their records and bookings.
Wizme 2.0 features the Venue Workspace tool, which the company says will save properties time and money when it comes to responding to a Request for Proposal (Request for proposal).
The start-up, which has been named as a finalist in the GTMC Entrepreneurs in Business Travel Award taking place at next week’s Overseas Conference, claims its platform allows venues to create a new account in less than an hour, with listings presented to bookers based their specific needs. In turn, Wizme says the system can help both venues and customers filter out unqualified leads, again saving both parties time and resources.
In addition, the company says agencies such as Inntel are signed up to begin a pilot programme of the platform in July.
Founder and CEO Nour Mouakke commented: “If you’re a venue sales manager, you’re going to love the simplicity of everything being in one place. We are only now at the beginning of making an experience that will transform the industry. I have first-hand experience selling meetings and events in venues; I know how hard it is to manage the venue sales, drowning in so many poor-quality leads that I knew would never happen, but on the off chance you had to follow them up. We want to fix that – not just for the venues, but for the agents and corporates too.”
