Serko has announced a partnership with PredictHQ that will bring real-time event data into its Zeno platform to provide information to travellers about destination events that may impact the cost of their trip.

The travel demand forecast display in the travel and expense platform gives business travellers alerts that display what events are occurring at the booking destination and an impact score based on scale and logistical footprint.

PredictHQ’s proprietary ranking technology calculates and grades events by their estimated impact to enable travellers to adapt their plans and budgets in advance. This data is updated every minute, according to the company.

PredictHQ’s technology is also used by the likes of Uber and Booking.com.

Zeno is offered to corporate clients globally, including in the UK, by ATPI, as well as in Australia, New Zealand and North America by CWT. Serko claims to work with more than 50 TMCs worldwide that combined book more than US$4.5 billion a year through its platforms.
